Candidate Profile: Anne Antenucci (The Salvation Army Journey to Life Centre)
Over my career I have excelled working in various capacities in media relations, event planning, strategic marketing and social media management. In my current position as Community Engagement Assistant with The Salvation Army, I wear many hats. My primary focus is social media strategy and event planning.
With 10 years of not-for-profit experience and serving on multiple boards and committees throughout the city and region, I bring a wealth of knowledge and community involvement to the Chamber. Advocacy is at the heart of what the Chamber of Commerce does. As a young professional in this City that I am proud to call home, I want to help move it forward. I believe that professional and personal development are important. I sit on numerous boards and committees throughout the city, including being elected to the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. As such, I sit on the Executive Committee, the Anti-Racism Committee and the Policy Committee. I am also an advocate for the disabled community, as I have a son with autism. And I am also an advocate for women in leadership (both political and non-elected).
