2012 Award Winner - Willow Lem
2011
Award Winner - Trevor Forbes
Trevor started off as an entrepreneurial at 13 years old when he leased the Longlac Mini-golf for the summer.
Following increasing leadership on fire crews with the MNR which took him across Canada and into the US, he worked in both the oil sands and in mining.
Graduating this year from Confederation Colleges School of Business focussing on International Business and Marketing, Trevor is currently consulting for two small businesses.
He is also working on acquiring a full patent and license for a prototype he is developing.
Whether future planned pursuits will include providing consulting to the mining industry or operating a fly-in fishing outpost, Trevor impressed the Committee with the combination of enthusiasm and business savvy to make it work.
Congratulations, Trevor.
