11:30am – 1:00pm
Special thanks to BDC for their support of this event!
Come learn about the movement of entrepreneurs who create local prosperity, strong community and a healthy environment – as they make money.
Learn about the certification they prefer: Certified Beneficial corporation (B Corp).
There are now 2200 B Corp companies in 50 countries. Ontario and Canada are leaders.
Craig Ryan from BDC – the only bank in Canada dedicated exclusively to entrepreneurs and Canada’s only certified B Corp bank – will explain:
• how these entrepreneurs differ from others;
• why they like the B Corp certification, and;
• how they’re building a global movement to redefine business success: not just best in the world, but best for the world!
Craig Ryan is Director of Social Entrepreneurship. He leads the BDC team that helps grow the movement of certified Beneficial corporations (B Corps) across Canada. He is also responsible for finding innovative ways to help BDC support entrepreneurs in underserved parts of the population.
