About our AGM & Chair’s Reception
Usually held in late January, our Annual General Meeting and Chair’s Reception provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with others who share an interest in the governance of the Chamber, the direction of our community and the Chamber’s role within it.
The event begins with a formal business meeting which typically runs about a half-hour and includes items like the approval of financial statements and the President’s report. From there, Members move into a symposium for casual conversation, appetizers and a cash bar followed by a seated agenda featuring the swearing-in of the new Chair of the Board and a keynote address from a speaker chosen for their ability to inform and inspire us as we continue into the New Year.
