Two nominations have been made for this funding round!
- Frontier College. Nominated by Laura Lee Jewell.As Canada’s original literacy organization they are making a difference in the lives of so many! If successful in this nomination the funds would be used for Summer programs – Reading Tents & local reading camps. Contact Cathy Mehagan: 807 285 3343. - Evergreen: A United Neighbourhood. Nominated by Michael Quibell. The mission of Evergreen is to enhance the capacities and mobilize the strengths of the people living in the Simpson-Ogden neighbourhood. Together we work to create a vibrant, prosperous, inclusive, resilient, healthy and clean community. If awarded to Evergreen, this quarter’s funds will purchase some art supplies for the summer, milk and juice boxes for the kids, maybe even fruit on a regular basis.
The winning charity will be announced in the Group by Facebook Live after voting closes at 5:30 on Wednesday June 19.
