Each of the municipal candidates was given the opportunity to complete a survey indicating whether or not they commit to the ten actions recommended in the City of Opportunity platform.  The Chamber has provided the candidates’ survey responses below.  Please be advised that this information has been supplied by the candidates themselves and in no way constitutes the endorsement of any candidate.

  •  SAFE STREETS:  work with stakeholder groups to develop long-term strategies for addressing homelessness, addiction, mental illness and crime
  •  GREAT NEIGHBOURHOODS: reform by-laws in support of sustainable neighbourhoods based on mixed-use, mixed-income areas that allow people to live, work and play in a walkable space.
  •  DIVERSITY AND RESPECT: ensure that no one is subject to racism, discrimination or abuse in our community
