April 1, 2021

From the very beginning of this pandemic, businesses across our community have stepped up to help in countless ways.  As we look to get back to full economic and social activity, the Chamber is coordinating volunteers to assist at local vaccination clinics offered by the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Vaccination Clinics are held in the Coliseum building on the CLE grounds.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Tuesday, Thursday – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Volunteer Commitment

Volunteer shifts will be 3.5 or 4 hours long, depending on schedule.  Preference would be for volunteers to be available for up to two shifts per week.

Volunteers should be vaccinated.  If you have not received your vaccination yet, you need to be willing to receive vaccine.

Positions may require extended standing and mobility.  Parking Lot Attendant may encounter inclement weather.

PPE will be provided – all volunteers will be required to wear face masks and eye protection (glasses or face shields).  Outdoor volunteer positions will be provided additional PPE as they will be in contact with the public prior to screening.
