December 2019 Recipient: Precious Bundles

Children's Clothing Assistance Program

100 People Who Care Campaign

At our final quarterly funding round-up of 2019, held during the Chamber’s Open House at our new office, we tallied the votes and awarded this quarter’s funds to the Precious Bundles Clothing Assistance program, nominated by Emily Shandruk. We recently had a chance to present them with the Big Cheque for $2,600 and hear how they’ll use the money!

Precious Bundles has a goal of raising $5000 in 2020 to ensure that their ever-increasing need to provide 7 pairs of new socks and underwear in every bundle is met. In 2019 they delivered close to 700 bundles into the community. Precious Bundles is 100% volunteer-run and relies on the generosity of the community to keep their operations going.
