At our second quarterly funding round-up of 2020, the group voted to award our pooled funds to NorWest Community Health Centres’ Street Outreach Program, where they’ll help purchase a variety of supplies that will be distributed by the team from their outreach van.

At our third quarterly funding round-up, held during the Chamber’s Member Social at the Thunder Bay Art Gallery, we tallied the votes and awarded this quarter’s funds to the Northwestern Ontario Women’s Centre, nominated by Karen Kerk from EcoSuperior/the Thunder Bay & Area Food Strategy. We recently had a chance to attend their next Packing Day and present them with the Big Cheque for $3100!
