December 2020 Nominees

100 People Who Care Campaign

Voting for the December (fourth quarter) funding round of 2020 is now open!

To participate in the voting for this round, you must have registered at www.tbchamber.ca/100people and submitted your donation before the voting deadline at Wednesday, December 16 – 5pm.

Two nominations have been made for this funding round!

  1. Evergreen: A United Neighbourhood has been nominated by Jim Stadey:
“For close to a decade now now I have watched Linda Bruins lead programming developed to keep at-risk youth safe and provide stability and resilience for families. This is a year where organizations like this really need us to bolster their ability to survive and remain sustainable.”
  2. Camp Quality has been nominated by Vince Mirabelli:
“Camp Quality Northwestern Ontario is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that provides children aged 7-17 affected by cancer and blood disorders with a week long summer camp and year round programming and support. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Camp Quality has had to re-imagine summer camp and our in-person fundraising events for the year. With the future still unknown, our programming and fund-development teams are continuously working hard to plan virtual or socially distanced gatherings and fundraising events for 2021. With the lack of our traditional fundraising events to assist with our year round programming and support, we are looking for support from the 100 People Who Care Campaign to support our 2021 programming for these campers and their families.”

If you’re interested in the discussion, our donor group meets virtually in the Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/tbay100.

We’re also hosting a wrap-up meeting on Zoom just before voting closes – learn more here.
