New $1 billion Business Development Bank of Canada program and $500 million in additional funding for the Regional Tariff Response Initiative

BDC Program – additional $1 Billion
Available to industries that manufacture and export products containing steel, aluminum or copper. It will support firms that use these metals in a significant way in their production and that have been impacted by the tariffs. Financing for the first year at 0% interest.


Regional Tariff Response Initiative – additional $500 million
– to support tariff-impacted businesses in all sectors of our economy
– delivered through FedNor in Northern Ontario
