The Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce released the following statement in response to President Trump’s Tariff announcement:

“Thunder Bay’s robust forestry sector is a crucial pillar of our regional economy and a major exporter to the United States; as such, these tariffs will be harmful to our local community. We fully support the Canadian and Ontario governments in their efforts to safeguard local jobs and economies.”
